Itinerario
DAY 1 / CUSCO CITY TOUR
We will pick you up at the airport any time to go the hotel where you can rest and drink the famous coca tea for the altitude sickness and then you will have some free time to explores the city with our guide at 13.00 to visit in Cusco the main Cathedral with their exquisites cusqueñan paintings, chapel, afterwards we will continue visiting the temple of the sun the Qoricancha of Cusco where you can see then the Sun Temple or Qoricancha. Then we continue to visit all the archeological sites like Sacsayhuaman where the Cusqueños make the festival of the sun in winter solstice in June 21st, we will also visit Qenko, Pucapucará and Tambomachay then you can go straight to the Cusco city to the hotel.
DAY 2 / CUSCO SACRED VALLEY TO MACHUPICCHU
We will pick you up at 8 am in your hotel, please keep in mind you have to bring the boletos turistico and the passports to start our tours to the sacred river in Pisaq. Afterwards we drive up to Pisac Inca citadel where you can observe temples, residences, altars, channels, carvings, tunnels/caves and the famous Intihuatana “The hitching post of the Sun, to continue along the sacred valley to Urubamba for lunch, after 40 minutes we continue to Ollantayatmbo to visit the enormous blocks of rock perfectly carved and polished in their temples after that we have time to visit the Ollantayambo village before we take the train to Machupicchu at 7 pm where we arrive to Aguas Calientes town at 8:45 pm.
DAY 3: / APRIL 18TH MACHU PICCHU
Early in the morning after the breakfast we go to the station to take the bus drive up with the sunrise to Machu Picchu for a guided tour around the most important places and temples. Where we find 3 areas: the agricultural area, the urban area and the area of the temples, as temple of the sun or the sundial. After the 2 hours guiding, we have aproximalty 03 hours of free time before to take the bus to going down to Aguas Calientes for our train but prior to this we have our lunch.
DAY 4 / CUSCO – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
We leave at 5 am directly to the Cusipata town where we have breakfast, so then we continue for about 40 minutes to walk to Vinicunca or Rainbow Mountain.
DAYS 5 / APRIL 19TH TRANSFER –
Free day and transfer to the airport
