Lares Trek Machu Picchu 4 Dias

DÍA 1: CUSCO – HUACAWASI – SONDOR

Aproximadamente a las 5:30 am le recogeremos en su hotel para salir hacia el pueblo de Lares donde haremos una parada por las piscinas por unos 40 minutos y continuar hacia Cuncani donde comenzamos la excursión. Durante este viaje haremos una parada en el pueblo de Calca, donde usted podrá visitar el mercado local para hacer algunas compras, después tendremos nuestro primer desayuno. Su guía podrá aconsejarle  que cosas usted debe comprar para su viaje y también para regalos o comida para repartir a los niños que usted se encontrará durante el viaje, Cuando lleguemos a Lares visitaremos las Aguas calientes de lares donde usted podrá  disfrutar de los baños mientras nuestros cocineros preparan un maravilloso almuerzo. Después de almorzar comenzaremos nuestra excursión hacia el primer campamento de sondor (3800m). Durante 5 horas usted andará gradualmente cuesta arriba de modo que usted podrá ejercitarse y acostumbrase (entrenamiento) para el viaje del segundo día, cuando alcancemos el punto más alto del viaje. Pasaremos la primera noche en la casa de nuestros comuneros que muy cordialmente nos recibirán en sus casas a nuestra llegada. Ellos estarán listos para que nos  ensene el proceso del tejido andino y podremos tener la oportunidad de participar en este proceso

DÍA 2: SONDOR – PASO SACSAYLLAME – ARURAY COCHA –  MISKI INU – PUCARA

Después de un nutritivo desayuno comenzaremos la caminata hacia el punto más alto, el paso de Sacsayllame en 4400m o 14435 pies. La excursión tomará aproximadamente 1.20 Horas  y será muy escarpada cuesta arriba. Desde luego un caballo de emergencia nos acompañará de modo que cada uno se sentirá más seguro de alcanzar la cima. Durante este viaje usted será capaz de disfrutar de enormes montañas, tierras agrícolas y vistas impresionantes. Esté consciente que alcanzaremos grandes alturas y el tiempo puede ser muy frío. Después del alcance del punto más alto bajaremos y pasaremos una laguna hermosa antes de almorzar después de las lagunas. Usted tendrá un tiempo libre para descansar y recuperarse mientras nuestros cocineros preparan un almuerzo delicioso para usted. Después descenderemos más lejos por un bosque donde usted podrá disfrutar del «Queuñas» (Polylepis), un árbol típico de Perú. Este paseo tomará aproximadamente 6 horas campamento Pucara 3000m). Un maravilloso lugar en medio de paisaje, donde usted recibirá té caliente y algunos bocados para luego aprovechar la tarde para poder observar las aves y colibrís endémicos y migratorios en nuestro bosque primario

DÍA 3: PUCARA – OLLANTAYTAMBO – KM 104 – MACHUPICCHU – AGUAS CALIENTES

Recojo de nuestro campamento a las 6 pm. Vehículo privado hasta el pueblo de Ollantaytambo, aquí tomamos el tren para ingresar al KM. 104, inicio del Camino Inca. Nuestro guía nos informa sobre la función del grupo arqueológico de Chachabamba (2270m). Luego de 2 horas de ascenso, visitamos  Wiñayhuayna (2650m), el más importante grupo arqueológico antes de Machu Picchu. Luego continuamos hacia la puerta del Sol “Inti Punku”, para observar el atardecer de Machu Picchu. En este día, aprovechamos el atardecer para tomar algunas fotografías de Machu Picchu. Más tarde, tomamos el bus hacia el pueblo de Aguas Calientes. Noche de acomodación y cena en Aguas Calientes.

DIA 4: Día: Pueblo de Aguas Calientes –  Machu Picchu – Cusco

A las 5hrs 30am, después de nuestro desayuno, nos dirigimos hacia Machu Picchu. A un promedio de las 6am, empezamos a visitar la ciudadela de Machu Picchu (2400m), lugar que nos enriquecerá, por su historia y cultura, en armonía con la naturaleza. Luego usted tendrá tiempo libre para disfrutar de su tranquilidad y explorar algunas opciones como La Puerta del Sol o la montaña Huayna Picchu. Más tarde, volver al pueblo de Aguas Calientes donde toman el tren de las 18hrs 45 hacia el pueblo de Ollantaytambo. Aquí, un transfer hace el traslado hasta el hotel de Cusco (3350m) en bus.

Notes:

1. Climbing Wayna Picchu requires booking months in advance. We charge an additional $20.00USD and we’ll guarantee your entrance for Wayna Picchu.
2. Tips for the horseman, cooks and guides are always welcome. The horseman are also very grateful for a small donation of clothes or school supplies for their children.

What to bring?

• Backpack with rain cover (30- or 40-liter capacity is sufficient).
• Clothing for both warm and cold climates.
• Trekking shoes/boots.
• Slippers or sandals (for showers and hot springs).
• Woolen/synthetic socks and a sweater.
• Long- and short-sleeved T-shirts.
• Rain poncho/waterproof jacket & pants and a hat.
• Bathing suit (for the hot springs in Aguas Calientes).
• Sunscreen, insect repellent, toilet paper, hand cleaner/disinfecting alcohol gel, personal toiletries.
• Camera (with rain protection), a flash light/headlamp and extra batteries.
• Snacks (e.g. chocolate bars and dried fruit)
• Original passport, original ISIC student card (to receive the student discount) and extra money in soles.
• The climate can be very cold and wet, so your wet clothes won’t have enough time to dry. Take extra clothes.

Important:

During the high season (May to August), it is difficult to ensure the exact date of departure desired – there may be only availability the day before or after. We will of course do our best to ensure the best service, but we must adhere to the daily people limits policy established on this tour.

IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.  We require an immediate deposit of $150.00USD for all bookings.
2.  For all tours and treks, the balance must be paid in full up to 48 hours prior to the start of the program. If you want to pay the balance in the office of XTreme Tourbulencia, we only accept cash payment. Failure to pay the trek balance will result in tour cancellation.
3.  If you decide to cancel during the briefing 2 days prior to departure, you must pay the full amount of the trek. XTreme Tourbulencia, however, will cover the expenses for the hotel and train ticket to visit Machu Picchu. This offer must be confirmed in writing at the briefing.
4.  You may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to info@x-tremetourbulencia.com in writing. Cancellation charges will be applied as shown below calculated from the day written notification is received by info@x-tremetourbulencia.com. All reservations cancelled less than 15 days prior to the departure date of the tour are subject to a cancellation fee
5. The Lares Trek is non-transferable, non-reimbursable and the participant cannot change the date of departure.
6. If the traveler makes the decision to abandon the excursion during the program, no reimbursement will be made and no claim will be accepted. XTreme Tourbulencia does not cover the expenses made by the traveler for the hotel and the transport back to Cusco or to Aguas Calientes, as well as a hotel in Aguas Calientes. Also, the traveler will be accompanied by a representative of XTreme Tourbulencia back to the train station.
7. Certain services might be interrupted or even cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disasters or other disturbances. These are out of the control of hotels, service suppliers, XTreme Tourbulencia or its partners and therefore, no refund will be given.
8. To receive the student discount of $20.00USD, we require a copy of a university student card with valid expiration date and picture. It is very important to bring your original student card to validate the discount. In the event that we don’t receive the scanned copy of the student card along with your reservation form, we will process your reservation at the full, adult price.
9. If XTreme Tourbulencia doesn’t confirm the reservation, the deposit will be refunded.
10. In the case of force majeur, when a trek cannot start or be completed, XTreme Tourbulencia will find an alternative route to go to Machu Picchu. If this alternative is of lower value than the originally booked excursion, XTreme Tourbulencia will refund the difference.
11. It is compulsory that all clients have personal travel insurance. This insurance must cover personal accidents, medical expenses, loss of effects and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage or injury occurring to the client. XTreme Tourbulencia cannot be considered responsible for any accident or loss of personal belongings the customer caused by his/her own actions.
