Day 1:     Lima – Cusco

Day 1: Lima – Cusco

We pick you up in your hotel in Lima or you can go directly to the airport of Lima, the capital city of Peru.

When you arrive to Cusco we pick you up in the Cusco airport to provide you transport service to your hotel where you will stay. Where you will be welcomed by coca tea. You will have some time off to acclimatize and then we organize the city tour from 13:30 pm to 18:30 where you will visit the colonial town: Plaza de Armas which was the sacred plaza of the Incas and the monastery of Santo Domingo, Qoricancha or Inticancha, the Temple of the sun in the Andean times, we have preserved the authentic Inka buildings. We then continue around Cusco to visit the archeological sites as Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Pucapucará and Tambomachay and then back to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 2: Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas – Machupicchu

We begin by picking you up in the hotel after the breakfast at 8am to go to visit, Pisaq, the Inka city where we visit the religious site and the agriculture site. After this visit we continue to the Pisaq market for your souvenir, here you will find a great variety of handicrafts like clothes of alpaca, carpets, ponchos, covers, furnishings, minerals and stones, jewelry, etc. The lunch will be served in a restaurant in Urubamba in the sacred valley.  In the afternoon we will visit the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. This fortress was used as cultural, administrative, religious and military center in the Tahuantinsuyo period, afterwards we will have free time to take our train to Machupicchu at 19 hours to get to Machupicchu at 8:45 pm, Machupicchu town or Aguas Calientes will be the places to spend the night in a hotel.

Day 3: Machu Picchu – Cusco

Today you are going to visit Machu Picchu town  Early in the morning you will take the first bus to have a beautiful view at Machu picchu with a  professional guide that will lead you through the impressive Machu Picchu. This will be a unique experience. The guide will show you the walls with many stones, the mystery about the construction of the stones and other peculiarities. You will return by bus and have lunch in the town afterwards; you will take the train to Ollantaytambo, from where you will go by bus to Cusco. This night will be spent in a hotel in Cusco.

Included: Hotel, breakfast, guide, bus to up and down to Machupicchu town, entrances to the archeological Machupicchu, train to Cusco

Day 4: Cusco – Puno

After the breakfast we will go to the bus station at 6:30am to take our tourist bus to Puno. During the trip you will get great views of Peru’s highlands called Altiplano between Cusco and Puno we will make many stops along the way, in first one will be in Andahuaylillas (famous temple compare with the Sixtina and called it chapel Sixtina de America, which has miraculous religious art); then we stop in Raqchi (monumental Inca Temple); then la Raya at 4313 m. (border of the highlands of Cusco and Puno) then finally we stop for our lunch in Sicuani, after lunch you will visit the Pukara museum before you get to Puno to go to your hotel where you get some time for yourself.

Day 5: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Uros – Amantani

We pick you up at 7am to make an excursion by boat on the Titicaca Lake where you will visit Uros floating Islands, where people living have constructed their islands and homes entirely of reeds from the lake and they continue with their traditional style of living from the lake by fishing and harvesting lake plants. Afterwards you board the boat and visit the Amantani Island where we spend the night with the local people in a private room

Included: breakfast, guide, bus, boat, entrances to Uros, Amantani. Lunch, accommodation and dinner.

Day 6: Puno – Amantani – Taquile – Puno

After our breakfast we continue by boat to visit Taquile Island where you pass the time visiting small workshops and see the traditional local life of the Taquile Island where we have lunch in the typical restaurant, after the lunch we go back to our boat back to Puno to be there at 16 hours.

Day 7: Puno – Lima

We have to go the Juliaca airport 40 minutes from Puno to take our plane

Important:

During the high season (May to August), it is difficult to ensure the exact date of departure desired – there may be only availability the day before or after. We will of course do our best to ensure the best service, but we must adhere to the daily people limits policy established on this tour.

IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.  We require an immediate deposit of $150.00USD for all bookings.
2.  For all tours and treks, the balance must be paid in full up to 48 hours prior to the start of the program. If you want to pay the balance in the office of XTreme Tourbulencia, we only accept cash payment. Failure to pay the trek balance will result in tour cancellation.
3.  If you decide to cancel during the briefing 2 days prior to departure, you must pay the full amount of the trek. XTreme Tourbulencia, however, will cover the expenses for the hotel and train ticket to visit Machu Picchu. This offer must be confirmed in writing at the briefing.
4.  You may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to info@x-tremetourbulencia.com in writing. Cancellation charges will be applied as shown below calculated from the day written notification is received by info@x-tremetourbulencia.com. All reservations cancelled less than 15 days prior to the departure date of the tour are subject to a cancellation fee
5. The Lares Trek is non-transferable, non-reimbursable and the participant cannot change the date of departure.
6. If the traveler makes the decision to abandon the excursion during the program, no reimbursement will be made and no claim will be accepted. XTreme Tourbulencia does not cover the expenses made by the traveler for the hotel and the transport back to Cusco or to Aguas Calientes, as well as a hotel in Aguas Calientes. Also, the traveler will be accompanied by a representative of XTreme Tourbulencia back to the train station.
7. Certain services might be interrupted or even cancelled due to weather conditions, natural disasters or other disturbances. These are out of the control of hotels, service suppliers, XTreme Tourbulencia or its partners and therefore, no refund will be given.
8. To receive the student discount of $20.00USD, we require a copy of a university student card with valid expiration date and picture. It is very important to bring your original student card to validate the discount. In the event that we don’t receive the scanned copy of the student card along with your reservation form, we will process your reservation at the full, adult price.
9. If XTreme Tourbulencia doesn’t confirm the reservation, the deposit will be refunded.
10. In the case of force majeur, when a trek cannot start or be completed, XTreme Tourbulencia will find an alternative route to go to Machu Picchu. If this alternative is of lower value than the originally booked excursion, XTreme Tourbulencia will refund the difference.
11. It is compulsory that all clients have personal travel insurance. This insurance must cover personal accidents, medical expenses, loss of effects and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage or injury occurring to the client. XTreme Tourbulencia cannot be considered responsible for any accident or loss of personal belongings the customer caused by his/her own actions.
